USSSA 2012 Rule Updates
2012 USSSA Rule Changes
  1. 9U - the pitching distance for all classes is now 46ft. The base paths will remain at 65ft.
  2. There is a new option for the 14U distances. Pitching can be set at 57ft and the base paths can be changed to 85ft.  The other options of 54-80 and 60-90 still exist.
  3. The pitching line for 7 and 8 year old coach will now start at the front of the circle and only go to the safety arc (30ft). The 20ft foul arc is still needed for play to determine fair foul, but you can not pitch inside of the 30 foot arc.
  4. See section 7.01.C for the new bat rules and the punishments for the use of illegal bats.

About Us

Royse City Baseball and Softball Association provides a recreational youth baseball and softball league for children 4 to 14.  The division for your child is determined by their age as of May 1st, 2012 for Tball and Baseball.  Then for Softball players age as of January 1st, 2012.  

4 year olds
(Dev. Tball League)

5 and 6 year olds
(Tball League)

 7 & 8 year olds
(Coach Pitch League)

9 and 10 year olds
(Player Pitch)

11 and 12 Year olds
